And if some of these claims are real then maybe they wanted us to know?

I didn't see anything from the future but I listened in on some of the conversations of people who did

One vision where America was controlled by imPorts and we could get away with murder if they wanted to. Nobody was allowed to speak out against us.

One where the government decided not to let us run free anymore and where we were all ACTUALLY second class citizens like people keep on panicking about like if we didn't do what the government said then they'd hurt us.

Someone's trying to mess with us but I don't know if they're trying to get us to turn against the government or each other

Or both.

Yeah point. The first time I got ported out and back I'd missed some crazy infection so it's always going to be something.

I'm not sure if that really is the question. They showed us two ways it could go REALLY wrong but they didn't show us the other five hundred ways it could go a little better or a little worse.

I think it would take something big for it to go either way. We could probably use a little positive PR these days though

Another information leak spreading a bunch of nasty rumors about imPorts at the last swearing in.

It was over at the Jefferson hotel and they were giving a press conference about how they were worried about Russia and they wanted everyone to be alert. Lots of propaganda everywhere that kind of thing

Protester crashed the speech and they broke his arms

Again? These information leaks don't do a whole lot of damage as far as I know, but people sure are persistent.

It hurts the people who are mentioned. Maybe not in the long run but people have lost their jobs and it's not easy having all this stuff spread around about you.

But you're right I don't think it does the kind of lasting damage that whoever spilled it wants it to do. Not now anyway. Things are getting kinda rough in MF for imports right now

Yeah, I've had some things in the paper spread about me before. Not that it wasn't exactly false but I get it.
So information leak, followed by visions of the past and potential futures? I don't get it, but I don't like it.
Makes me think it's building to something.

Maybe. I got no idea what though. It's not a good sign that someone can give us hallucinations but I'm not sure how much further it'll go

[And once Power Girl gets back to him, tells him that she's free, it's time to just bite the bullet and tell her.

Oh, boy. She's going to be mad, isn't she? If Superman got upset, then she'll be upset too. He doesn't want to do this, but it's the right thing to do, really, and he can't even say that he was in the right here.

Maybe she won't be that mad...?

Either way, Jaime asks to talk to her in-person, which again, isn't the thing he wants to do, but it seems much fairer than doing it over text.

[ It didn't sound urgent, but their usual conversations tend to be strictly work related so Peej doesn't waste her time heading over. She lands a couple of blocks away from the housing area as she isn't in costume and she doesn't want Jaime to be caught trying to explain why there's a superheroine in the house.

A few minutes later she makes her way up the pathway and to the front door and knocks. ]
