Oh well my suit's made out of recycled biological waste! So you probably wouldn't want to eat anything that came out of it. I think technically you could eat the pictures I print out because they disintegrate anyway but I mean it'd be pretty nasty

Mr. Scarab is quite resourceful! But you're right, technical or not, I think recycling is a word best applied to bottles and cans rather than anything biological.

Of course, everything is recycled through the cycle of decomposition, and it may be wrong to be disgusted by that. I don't think any mushroom has considered using its talents to create a picture!

Eh, plenty of people think it's gross but it works for me

TECHNICALLY it's a lot better for the environment. Think of it like compost! 100% hygienic compost!

It's a shame they don't appreciate it. Because when you put it like that, it's much cleaner than cars that pollute or unrecycled paper! Mr. Scarab finds a use for every substance and leaves no pollution.

Not to speak ill of anyone, but that rather shows a lack of open-mindedness, in my view. It's much better than leaving a bunch of litter all over the place. And Mr. Scarab is demonstrably not imaginary.

I suppose if your situation is a usual example of teenage woes on your world, they're already preoccupied with their own strange new abilities.

Still, I think it's a good thing to know your teammates' teammates.

Oh probably. But in fairness I don't really know THEIR teammates either. I'd be way too nervous to go up to Wonder Woman like hey, I'm on a team with your student or sister or whatever!

Like knowing a celebrity's doctor's brother-in-law? I may not have met [ms woman] [ms wonder woman] [how does she put a polite construction around that] Dame Wonder, but I think it would be hard for her to disapprove of you, whether as Jaime-san or Mr. Beetle.

And you probably have a higher opinion of me than you should. She thinks I'm a little rude

These heroic titles are confusing. There doesn't seem to be a standard. But I think my opinion is well-grounded, if you don't mind me contradiction you... perhaps Wonder Woman just got the wrong impression, like Lady L'Arachel did.

Basically just call us by our codenames and don't bother with the Mr and Miss thing and you're solid. Not that you'll offend anyone but I kinda gave up the moment I tried to shorten someone's name into Miss Girl. It just doesn't work

And I mean I was way ruder to Wonder Woman than I was to Larachel

It wasn't that bad! I just bragged a LITTLE about containing one of the evil flashes from an alternate universe but she thought I was too cocky for a newbie

But in fairness to me, I was pretty awesome

Do you mind if I go back and ask about how there are not just several alternate versions of Flash but there are enough where he is evil to only be "one of them?"

Oh well I kind of assume that there's more than one universe where he's evilish. I mean, there are four flashes and a gazillion universes, so it stands to reason

My goodness, you must need an Excel document just to keep track of all of them. Does it operate along a gradient? Unpleasant Flash, Evilish Flash, and Evil Flash?

I'm actually pretty sure most of them are really nice! We just got unlucky and got invaded with the mean ones for a day. I haven't actually been to any other alternate universes myself

So if you meet a Flash, they're PROBABLY okay. If you meet a reverse Flash, don't get involved

It's the sort of thing that could happen to anyone.

But how would I distinguish Flash from Reverse Flash? I suppose the reverse of a flash is sudden darkness, isn't it?

Guys who do what I do dress up in like REALLY BRIGHT primary colors and call themselves dumb stuff like Flash or Blue Beetle or Gorilla Grodd (because he's a gorilla and his name is Grodd)

We're not exactly what you'd call subtle. If you ask him he'd probably yell his name at you

There is something to be said for being so direct. It must make it convenient to find your archnemesis when you need to do battle.

I'll keep it in mind if I ever meet someone introducing himself as Flash and make sure I pay close attention to whether or not he has a longer line on his business card.

Honestly if he's in costume you'll probably know since they only really wear them on-duty? So they'll probably be doing something evilish

Oh, so he doesn't commit evil deeds off the clock. That's reassuring :)

I certainly hope it stays that way. The unofficial Fourth of July celebrations were quite enough villainy to deal with for one summer.
