I don't think my fate would be easier for them to accept if they understood it better. It might be harder.

You're probably not wrong.

It's up to you but since I've been here I've kept a lot of secrets that people say is for everyone else's own good. Maybe they're right some of the time since we can't do much about a lot of them but they're wrong some of the time too. From what I've seen people mostly want to know the truth even if it's hard.

If someone asks you, you don't have to lie for me. If they want to know... I'll tell them.

But I'd rather they were as happy as they could be for as long as possible.

[Minato is definitely being selfish. If there was ever a situation that necessitated him having to tell his friends, he would do it without hesitation, this such a minor sacrifice compared to everything else he's given up.

But he still is reluctant to give up every piece of himself if he doesn't have to.]

Thanks. In the beginning I just wasn't used to talking about anything. By the end, I guess I didn't want to go back to being the strange one again.

But at least here you don't have to be the strange one. You can just be Minato.

It is. But you're already friends with most of the people I'd want help with. If you think I should meet anyone, let me know.

I was mostly thinking about the people we're both friends with. I think that we have practically all the same friends.

[...weird. Their friend groups got kind of smushed together.]

But I'll definitely let you know. I sort of thought about setting you up with a girl I know once but I'm pretty sure she's a one guy kind of lady

I thought Jaime-kun was very popular, with a lot of people I don't know as friends.

Oh? I guess that wouldn't work, then. But if you'd like to set us up as friends, I wouldn't mind.

Then I guess if you guys are official now you're going to have to introduce him next time a bunch of us get together. I want you guys to meet Traci at some point too so I'll see if she wants to come too

I'd definitely like to meet Traci. I didn't realize I should be telling everyone about Riku-san. [His double standard is a little silly.]

You could do that yeah. But I mean it's not like you have to report it or anything

It could just be that next time you meet up with everyone you tell them or when they ask how you are you tell them about your new boyfriend. It's not something you gotta plan

Most of what I do doesn't seem relevant to them. Usually I just say I'm okay when they ask.
