[Armin supposes it's possible he could be, since the comment about "girls are cute when they're crying" totally pushed his buttons. He's still not over how much it disturbed him - what it made him think of.]

What did you even say to him that caught his interest so bad? And what did he say to you? He likes messing with people a lot

I engaged him instead of running when I got bad vibes or telling him off when he got personal I tried to use the situation to find out more he mentioned he's bored by this place and that my unwillingness to admit defeat at the game? Maybe my attitude I hope not that. My unwillingness amused him and kept him content for now. He left after that but said maybe we'll play another sort of game another time, won't we?

[Armin tends to write and speak impeccably. Not correcting the errors is his own way to admit to Jaime how upset he is, though it's hardly intentional.]

It's okay. He can't risk doing anything like he did before or else he's just going to get arrested again. He talks a big game but I know he doesn't want to repeat that.

Creeping people out is just what he does. As long as you avoid him and make sure not to let on what your powers are or that sort of place you're from he should lose interest. I'm sorry you had to deal with him in the first place though. A guy like that needs a warning sign hung around his neck

it reminded so much of that one time I had to go home becuase I was really upset

If ihad to say one point probably when he started asking me about if id seen alot of children cry. But I stuck it out because I didn't want him to know hed shaken me. And then he said even grosser things. I held it together until after he was out of sight though

You were probably right not to show that he was getting to you. But you're right, next time, just go right away. Make something up if you have to.

[Maybe it wasn't 'real' danger, but since arriving Armin hasn't always had the most logical handle on these things. It's rare for him to meet someone who could put even a small crack in his armor, and this obviously bothers him. The news that Hisoka is a pedophile and serial killer hasn't helped that anxiety. What is so wrong with me that this is the sort of attention I get.

But no matter how frightened he is, he knows his fears for himself are mostly selfish. There's more to worry about.]

Is anyone doing something about him running around?

[Maybe that's part of it, too. Armin hates knowing there's a threat out there that he can't personally neutralize - they had to play nice with Annie and Reiner, and that got Sasha and Jean hurt in the end. Hisoka sounds like he can be every bit as dangerous, though someone who specifically targets the young like that really bothers him.]

I've been keeping an eye on him. He served his time and technically speaking there's nothing we can do but make sure to jump on him the minute he does something wrong. He's strong though. Stronger than he looks.

I don't mind not talking.

[Armin knows now he can't leave this situation alone. Sooner or later Hisoka will find a moment when good people are distracted, or will find some sort of loophole to get what he needs in a way that means good people can't punish him.

But... not everyone here is good. Armin himself has filthy hands, and there are worse than him around here.
