Okay I thought you were just teasing but now I want to know where the heck you got the idea that I can take on bullets

Isn't that what all the superhero-types do? I thought superpowers and magic were essentially the same thing at first, but they're really different. All those superheroes - they either outrun bullets or have them bounce harmlessly off. Or melt them with their brains. It's all QUITE gaudy.

Okay A: don't ever test that theory out on me because aside from not being a superhero I'm not bulletproof and if I get shot I'll bleed a lot and possibly die

Well, it's an AWFULLY good thing you've warned me about that, because as you well know I've an awful habit of just shooting my friends at random. Anyway, I'm obviously not counting the ones who are like that, am I, since we haven't got any of them here.

You don't know that! We might have a bunch of import superheroes that aren't immune to bullets. They might have gotten the power of I dunno

Oh I don't know about that. You JUST told me that what you were saying was the truth and you seem pretty confident about that like ninety percent of the time. You don't have to know everything to educate someone

Well, OK, I know how bloody awful it is to grow up poor and spat-on, I got a GOOD education in that. So yeah I know THAT part is the truth. With GREAT confidence. But the rest of everything, I'm just trying to feel my way towards something that might be right. And trying to feel my way there when I'm more in the dark than most of the people I'm 'educating.' I mean, I don't think there are many people who take a look at me and think, oh, yeah, right there, that's a girl who knows what she's on about. I think most of them just see some guttersnipe, don't they. YOU come across as respectable, YOU can get away with that sort of thing.
