What, wrapping around your arm, 'I went on a road trip'?

Huh. So...How do you go about getting a tattoo, anyway? Though I don't know why I'm asking you, because I bet you don't have any.

Just because I don't have any doesn't mean I don't know how it works! There's nothing I'd want on me for life anyway

But basically what you do is you think up what you want and then you go to the parlor and describe it to them? After that they'll do some sketches for you and if you like it you can get it.

Maybe I'll do that. Not of the road trip, that'd be sort of silly, but...I never really thought about it before, but I sort of like the thought of commemorating certain things. That's nice.

I think so too! I don't think I'd ever get one but I like them.

What would you get?

Oh, I know you wouldn't get one. FAR too respectable for that. And...I don't know, exactly. I'd have to think about it. Because it'd have to be just right, I think. It's...There are people who are gone, and I'd like to remember them somehow.

I figured it would be something like that though. That's the sort of thing I'd get too if I was gonna get anything. It seems hard to figure out what. Just someone's name doesn't seem right

PLEASE get a piercing, I'd love to see that. And...No, it doesn't, really. Little symbols for each of them, too, would be...weird, I think. I can't really decide. It seems reductive, doesn't it? To try to pick out the essence of who they are? It seems like it's not enough.

Maybe you're thinking too specific. Maybe you need something about the place instead of every specific person.

Oh...That might be nice. We had this little art shop where we all worked. I could do something with that, maybe. I don't know about for the people from here who've disappeared, though.

I feel like if someone wanted to remember me I'd want it to be with something happy. Same goes with remembering others

I suppose an empty safe that we just robbed would be sort of weird. But sort of accurate, too. A lot of the time, that was when we got on best, when we were on jobs. Up until the end. But...OK, morbid question. But how specifically WOULD you want to be remembered? Like, if you disappeared, and say all of your friends decided to get a tattoo to remember you.

Hey you could always go for the empty safe motif. You don't have to justify your tattoo to anyone but yourself

But man I dunno. I've never thought about it much. I guess something that would remind people of me but I'm not sure what that would be? [A beetle, probably.] I feel like everything I actually do with people would make kind of tacky tattoos.
