[Appearance]
Age: 16
Height: 5'6"
Weight: No clue! He's got some lean muscle on him, but he's pretty scrawny overall.
Hair and eye colour: Black hair worn shaggy and brown eyes.
Clothing: Usually just a t-shirt, jeans and sneakers. Some days he has an open button-up on top! Very creative. His suit as Blue Beetle is a black and blue carapace with the scarab worn on his back with its legs wrapped around his torso. The suit has flat fingertips and his eyes are covered in yellow lenses and... occasionally red pupils, it depends on the artist.
General: Jaime is Mexican, so that should be fairly apparent! Otherwise his only stand-out feature is the little bit of scruff on his chin. If you happen to see him shirtless, he has what may appear to some as a blue tattoo of a bug, which is actually the scarab after it's receded into his spine.

Shapeshifting, which allows:
- Flight via both wing constructs and turbines
- Creating blades sturdy enough to puncture stone
- Creating a shield able to withstand large amounts of physical damage and exposure to very severe elements (i.e. the direct heat from a rocketship’s launch)
- Creation of various laser guns capable of everything ranging from a light shock
for ‘population control’ to blasts of ‘possible theological implications’ though Jaime stays somewhere in the middle due to his pacifist nature
- Creation of clothing, paper and photographs via Jaime’s organic waste
The Suit's Inherent Abilities:
-Ability to survive hazardous environmental conditions such as extreme heat, pressure and space.
-Superstrength/Endurance
-Reconfiguration of host body - ability to numb nerves, potential to grow extra fingers, etc.
-Accelerated healing of host body
-Creation of magnetic fields
-Minor Energy Manipulation - energy blasts, cocoons, constructs (mostly shields), inescapable bubbles and holograms
Technological Capabilities:
-Tracking anyone he comes in physical contact with and general threat assessments within five square miles
-Ability to communicate with technology
-Artificial Intelligence - The scarab is able to communicate to Jaime in his own head and is able to instruct Jaime on potential strategies and weaponry according to the files already in its database i.e., conjuring up kryptonite rays unbeknownst to its host against a Kryptonian opponent
-Scanning and identification of others’ broad physical statuses, including details such as pregnancy, the existence of thought patterns (for sentient tech) and energy signatures
-Ability to see magic as energy
-Communication Systems - ability to access most communication systems (basically a handy all purpose homing cell phone)
-Rudimentary translations of other languages

For Starscream, however, he's got the power to turn into his robot form which is pretty much important tech itself. the Scarab can def communicate with Starscream
Is there anything significant about your character that the Scarab would detect? I'm sure Connors would come up as slightly wonky because he turns into a giant lizard--idk how, though. as for Starscream, the fact that he's a bigass robot is pretty significant. Hans is squishy and normal and boring

Starscream technically doesn't have a Spark, which is the life-force of the Transformers. he's powered by an All-Spark fragment, which is a piece of the massive plot device that's also currently lodged in his head. the Scarab can def go "wow, what the fuck is up with this guy's energy signatures in his head" or something like that.

Not tech, but Ruka can inherently understand and be understood by entities communicating in non-human languages as though they were speaking the same language, which could possibly apply to the Scarab if it makes audible noises? idk this is your call.
Is there anything significant about your character that the Scarab would detect? Not that I know of.
Does your character have any magic that the Scarab would read as energy output? Yes. I'm not entirely sure how to explain it, but some of her powers are based in/come from a star/god/dragon/???, and this power which is always in a low-level state of activation, because one of the things it does is react to any form of danger by creating a shield, regardless as to whether Ruka knows there is danger or not.

For the record: Ruka was friends with the Jaime at cape&cowl for a few years when he was played previously. The short version is that that Jaime was something of an older-brother figure for her, and she feels responsible for (one of) his in-game death(s).
While she won't bring it up directly to him (she's kind of a jerk about lying and lying by omission), or discuss things about him that might be secret to other people, it does mean she knows about the Blue Beetle/Scarab thing, and has some holdover affection/guilt that will color how she treats him in game. If you need/want any further details, just let me know!

Is there anything significant about your character that the Scarab would detect? I don't think so. The only thing that I can think of might be the tattoo on her back. It's essentially the code key for flame alchemy, but it's been burned (..by someone using flame alchemy) beyond usability/translation. Barring that, she's just a really good sniper that does so without modern technology (since in her canon it's 1915ish).

Not sure? I honestly don't know much about the Scarab/Blue Beetle. Perhaps he could sense that George got his powers from a combination of chemicals and a meteorite strike.

Is there anything significant about your character that the Scarab would detect? Uhm, no life signs. Literally. He's basically a soul bonded to an empty suit of armor.
Does your character have any magic that the Scarab would read as energy output? Magic, no. But he does have alchemy which is basically manipulating natural energy so if Al does it, Scarab could pick up on that.

Can or should Jaime recognize your character? He can if you want him to! As far as I know they've only interacted once, during a one-off Halloween special. Klarion turned a bunch of rude trick-or-treaters to stone (and stole their candy), Jaime and M'Gann came by all super-suited up and were all like 'HEY TURN THEM BACK', Klarion was like 'THEY WERE JERKS THEY DESERVED IT', they fought for like... a page and a half, until some goth kids complimented Klarion on his costume, and then he cheered up, turned everyone back, and teleported the heck out of dodge. It was a super minor thing, and I'm fine with recognizing him or not recognizing him, either way!

Is there anything significant about your character that the Scarab would detect? Wibbly wobbly timey-wimey stuff? I can clarify more if needed, but Frisk's SAVE would probably register as a temporal anchor of some sort.
Does your character have any magic that the Scarab would read as energy output? I guess Determination COULD count as magic, but it's effects are mostly blunted in this universe. Either way these kids are basically glowing with it.

He is merged with a particularly powerful demon lord named Amon, who is generally only bested by Satan himself. Akira is early canon + a nice boy so he has very limited access to Amon's powers himself, but they're there.

I sort of called it technopathy here because I was trying to translate to superpower terms without going full cyborg (she's ~part synthetic~ (it's a vague ass ending) with the glowing circuitry and all yet still a squishy human), BUT she can absolutely ping as weird technology for them and the Scarab can communicate with her.

Like Google Glass but far more powerful. Scarab could interact with this, and David would probably be happy to make sure to allow Scarab an open back door into the system.
