[ Jaime wasn't expecting this to get a rise out of Ruka - aside from maybe a playful scowl as she batted him away or a fondness as she accepted it - but she surprises him every day still. Just like he still seems to surprise her. His heart swells with affection, deeply pleased that such a small gesture means that much to her. He's always tickled pink when he can see it on her face. She knows that by now.
