PORT-OUTS

WALLY WEST / KID FLASH @ [personal profile] runningstart
■■■■■■■■■■

Wally West has the dubious honour of being Jaime's best friend here in MOM. Wally probably knows him the best out of everyone, which means that they've fought far, far more than Jaime's actually fought with the people he actively dislikes. Still, they're friends for a reason; Jaime absolutely adores Wally and enjoys his company, whether it consists of lounging around and watching crap TV or going on patrol. More than that, he trusts him with knowledge about his life, about what he's capable of, about what he fears. They've seen each other at their best, and at their worst. Jaime would do pretty much anything for Wally -- and wishes that he could. There's just that little issue of him dying that's stuck in his head...

KHAJI DA'S ASSESSMENT: Wally West enjoys the overconsumption of < junk food > that is a harmful influence on my host. He enjoys emoticons. He is very loud and becomes angry easily. He is the frequent cause of great distress for Jaime Reyes under which circumstances I dislike him. Overall, he is not a threat. He is my friend.

BART ALLEN / IMPULSE @ [personal profile] moded
■■■■■■■■■□

If Wally's Jaime's best friend, then the younger speedster is his brother. Bart's the source of at least half of Jaime's current insecurities, the idea that he'll go evil, the idea that he's capable of utter destruction, and the fact that Wally's going to die in the future. He feels absolutely no resentment towards him, though, and loves Bart through thick and thin, through his grinning manias and the quiet calm of when he lets his real self trickle on through. Jaime worries about Bart a lot, and doesn't quite know what to do about it, but he'll be there for him through thick and through thin.

KHAJI DA'S ASSESSMENT: Bart Allen is Jaime Reyes' friend. Any distress he has caused my host is not due to his actions. He has attempted conversation with me. Threat level: moderate, unlikely to attack. He is acceptable.

TRACI THIRTEEN @ [personal profile] booyahh
■■■■■■■■■□

Jaime is completely crazy about Traci, and has finally managed to muster the courage to tell her that he loves her. Much to his giddy delight, she said it back! She's beautiful, funny, kind, courageous, powerful, and as it turns out? A huge dork. There's nothing he doesn't love about that. The more he learns about her, the more he learns how similar they are, and how troubled her life has been... but that's done nothing but strengthen things. This is not how he saw his first infatuation going. It scares him a little, but in a nice way.

KHAJI DA'S ASSESSMENT: Threat level: SEVERE. Traci Thirteen is able to kill us. She causes hormonal changes, heart rate acceleration, spontaneous outbursts of affection from Jaime Reyes. Jaime Reyes often queries: "Isn't she great?", becomes angry when I answer. It is very strange. She is acceptable.

MICHAEL JON CARTER / BOOSTER GOLD @ [personal profile] you_tried
■■■■■■■■■□

Booster Gold is basically the one senior hero he turns to when he needs someone who he trusts 100% not to judge him. Jaime's actually a lot more protective over Booster than he's willing to admit, and believes that he really is a hero, even if nobody else treats him like one. Booster's the guy he can go to if he needs to tell someone he can take over the world, but he can trust the guy to just trade inane texts back and forth if he just needs someone to mess around with too. He's had some problems with him in the past, but now that they've cleared the air, Jaime's glad to have him on his side. Just recently, Jaime's learned that there's even more to Booster than what meets the eye. He has no idea what to do with that kind of information yet, but... he'll get there.

KHAJI DA'S ASSESSMENT: Threat assessment: Low. Jaime Reyes trusts him. Booster Gold exhibits an acceptable level of protectiveness over Jaime Reyes; no desire to harm him. He is acceptable.

BRUCE WAYNE / BATMAN @ [personal profile] chiroptophobic
■□□□□□□□□□

Jaime doesn't like Batman. He likes his Batman, sure, but he's not so sure about this one. The only time that Bats deigned to speak with him was to demand Kryptonite out of nowhere, and then he went around being an asshole over the network about that whole Crane ordeal. What's that guy's problem? Jaime privately thinks that his Batman is way better.

KHAJI DA'S ASSESSMENT: Threat level: low. Batman confronted the Blue Beetle about our ability to produce Kryptonite. It is not his place. I do not like him.

SHINJIRO ARAGAKI @ [personal profile] hoboagogo
■■■■■■■■■□

Wally might be the guy that Jaime's closest to, but Shinji's a damn close second. They started off as housemates, but somewhere down the line, Jaime and Shinji became close friends, even if they spent some weekends doing little more than grunting at each other. Shinji has his problems, has grappled with suicidal ideations and a monster inside of himself, with the kid whose mother he'd inadvertently killed, and all Jaime wants to do is help, though he knows that his capacity to help is limited. Sometimes they talk about it, and sometimes they just sit around in each other's company, and that's okay. There are few others Jaime would rather sit around with.

KHAJI DA'S ASSESSMENT Threat level: low to moderate. Shinjiro Aragaki is aware of my existence. He has called me < weird > and < gross >. He has been a good friend to Jaime Reyes. He is acceptable.

MINATO ARISATO @ [personal profile] dormition
■■■■■■■■□□

Minato has, somehow, become Jaime's partner-in-crime, if by partner-in-crime, you mean the pursuit of aggressively making sure everyone around them is okay. Minato's got his problems too (being dead primary among them), and while Jaime wants to help him, Minato helps him plenty too. On the face of it, Minato ought to be cool, because he's good at pretty much everything and has everyone looking up to him, but Jaime just sees this odd, dorky guy that he's got bucketloads of respect for.

It's become easier and easier for Jaime to see how truly odd Minato is, these days. He doesn't understand things the way others do, and he's uncommunicative about himself to a fault. Jaime's hoping to continue nudging him in the right direction, to acknowledge how important Minato is divorced of what he can do, and with Minato moving in, that quest may be getting a little easier.

KHAJI DA'S ASSESSMENT: Threat level: low to moderate. Minato Arisato has only caused Jaime Reyes distress due to his circumstances. Jaime Reyes considers him an interpersonal ally. He asked my name. He is acceptable.

AKIHIKO SANADA @ [personal profile] ktfod
■■■■■□□□□□

Jaime doesn't know Akihiko as well as he knows the other SEES boys, but he's getting there. What he never realized was how profoundly weird Akihiko is. He wants to run everywhere, he's obsessed with his own body, and with proper diets and getting stronger, and... well, Jaime likes lounging around. Even so, he likes Akihiko. He's hilarious, and a lot of fun, and most importantly, he's been great for Shinji. He's glad to have known him.

KHAJI DA'S ASSESSMENT: Threat level: low to moderate. Akihiko Sanada demonstrates an unusual desire for strength. I approve of this endeavor. He has not caused Jaime Reyes distress. He is acceptable.

ELLIE LANGFORD @ [personal profile] youbastard
■■■■■■■■□□

Ellie's like a big sister to Jaime, through and through. She's gotten protective of him (god knows why, he thinks, because clearly he can take care of himself), but their initial meeting at the zoo spiraled into something more. He thinks that Ellie's got such a good, kind heart after everything that's happened to her, and that opinion hasn't changed even after seeing that she's got a ruthless streak to her as well. Who wouldn't, after all that? All in all, Jaime just wants happiness for her, even if there's a core of sadness to her that cuts down to her bones.

KHAJI DA'S ASSESSMENT> Threat assessment: low. Ellie Langford cares for Jaime Reyes' wellbeing. He likes her. She has demonstrated a distrust of my existence. She is acceptable.

TADASHI HAMADA @ [personal profile] tadeadshi
■■■■■■■□□□

Tadashi is, above all, nice. He's such a good person, even-tempered and willing to be friends with just about anyone. He's ordinary in a good way (or manages to seem ordinary even though he's a genius), and he's someone that Jaime would be friends with even if circumstances didn't throw them together. They can just gossip, and chat, and game, and watch documentaries together, and... oh yeah, he's dead. Or going to die. Either way, Jaime's hoping they can find a way around it so that he and his big, big heart can live a full, happy life. As it is, he can't help but worry.

KHAJI DA'S ASSESSMENT: Threat level: low. Tadashi Hamada has demonstrated an interest in AIs. He has asked about my name. He has caused Jaime Reyes distress only by circumstance. He persists in addressing me. He is acceptable.

HIRO HAMADA @ [personal profile] microbrobotics
■■■■■■□□□□

Hiro is most definitely not the ordinary Hamada. He's a genius too, but in a way that he wears on his sleeve -- and how could he not, being propelled ahead in school? Jaime's had a look at his nightmares and memories. He's got every reason to have grown up angry and bitter, and to a certain extent, he is, but that's not what's at the core of him. At the core of him there's a great kid, and a good person, one that Jaime respects even if he went off the rails a little bit. Jaime's agreed to train him in superheroics, which is something that he's honestly terrified of screwing up, especially knowing what he does about superheroes' mortality rates. Hiro's a tough one, because when he suffers a setback, he either lashes out or recedes into himself, and it's impossible for anyone to be able to talk to him. Hopefully they can at least avert one tragedy in the kid's life.

KHAJI DA'S ASSESSMENT: General threat level: low, personal threat level: high. Hiro Hamada has not caused Jaime Reyes distress. He has shown an interest in AIs. He has asked about my name. He has requested to see me again. He has called me < cool >. He is acceptable.

JOSEPH JOESTAR @ [personal profile] trickstar
■■■■■□□□□□

Jaime likes Jojo an awful lot. He's frequently immature, has a tendency to overreact, but in all, he's probably a little more serious and a little more mature than anyone gives him credit for. Jaime knows enough to know that he's had a colourful life, and he's part of one messed up legacy. He's happy that he's living this life to its fullest, but he sure hopes that he doesn't get Ported out one day and have to walk around Heropa wearing two wedding rings.

KHAJI DA'S ASSESSMENT: Threat level: low to moderate. Joseph Joestar makes Jaime Reyes laugh. He has not caused him distress. Joseph Joestar is acceptable.

ROXAS @ [personal profile] oathkeeping
■■■■□□□□□□

Jaime doesn't know Roxas too well, despite the fact that they're roommates. He still likes the kid just fine, though, and hopes that life here in Heropa is a lot easier for him than the gong show that's going on back home. Heartless, and clones, and originals, and... well, his whole backstory makes Jaime's head spin. Best to make the best of the here and now, and Jaime's glad to help him along the way. Recently, Jaime learned a little more of what happened to Roxas, and honestly, he's furious on his behalf. Perhaps part of the misfortune that befell Roxas was necessary to help the world - Roxas sure seems to think so - but it seems horribly unfair to him. He hopes Roxas doesn't get ported out.

KHAJI DA'S ASSESSMENT: Threat level: low. Jaime Reyes likes Roxas. He has not caused him considerable distress. Low threat level and low maintenance is ideal for a < roommate >. He is acceptable.

RUKA @ [personal profile] dragony
■□□□□□□□□□

Ruka knew a different version of Jaime, back in the day, one she professes to have been close to. She also seems to think she'd have been better off not knowing anyone at all, and unsure as to how to deal with information, Jaime's left her well enough alone. He doesn't know what to do. He thinks that she needs someone to talk to about the trauma of being an imPort for so long, but he sure as heck isn't that person. A little help please?

KHAJI DA'S ASSESSMENT: Threat level: low. Ruka has known an alternate version of myself, Jaime Reyes. Assessment: alternate versions are inferior to myself, Jaime Reyes. She was unwilling to speak. She does not trust Jaime Reyes. She is able to speak the Reach's language. I do not trust her.

HISOKA @ [personal profile] debauchewy
□□□□□□□□□□

Jaime considers Hisoka a serial killer, a pedophile, and an absolute creep. He makes Jaime's skin crawl with just a look, and there's nothing he can do about it, because Hisoka's technically done his time. Jaime likes to pretend that he just hates him for his crimes, but in all honesty, he's just scared of him. These days, Jaime's made a conscious choice to spar with Hisoka on a semi-regular basis in exchange for him letting all of his potential victims live. It's a pretty maddening state of affairs, but it's a sacrifice Jaime's willing to make.

KHAJI DA'S ASSESSMENT: Threat level: high. Hisoka is a dangerous criminal. He causes Jaime Reyes great distress. Jaime Reyes experiences accelerated heartbeat when in his presence. Recommended course of action: dispose of threat. I dislike him.

TIM DRAKE / BLACKBIRD @ [personal profile] alreadywon
■■■□□□□□□□

Tim Drake is an odd duck. Jaime likes him, he does -- he thinks that he's smart, and heroic, with a good head on his shoulders and a lot of compassion in his heart. But he's also extremely stressed, humourless, and occasionally taciturn. It's hard to get a read on him. He's one of those cases where Jaime likes him, but he has no idea if Tim particularly likes him back, and it's only exacerbated by Tim's rather dour mental state -- whatever's happening to him, Jaime just hopes that he's going to be okay, and that in some small way, he can help.

KHAJI DA'S ASSESSMENT: Threat level: low. Tim Drake is one of Jaime Reyes' teammates on the Titans. He has brought Jaime no distress. He is acceptable.

ALBERTO REYES @ [personal profile] whatyoumust
■■■■■■■■■■

And then there's his father. Jaime loves his father just as much as he loves his mother, and when things get tough, he finds himself wondering what his father would do, what he would say. This didn't change over the past year and a half, and it hasn't changed now; he admires his father, his advice, his faith, and his calm, steadfast nature. As with his mother, he simply hopes that even though he hasn't done what his father would have wanted him to do, that he'll be content with the person Jaime is now.

KHAJI DA'S ASSESSMENT: Threat level: low; threat level to Jaime Reyes: SEVERE. Alberto Reyes is important to Jaime Reyes. Alberto Reyes is his father. His presence is important to his wellbeing. He is to be protected.

MARIA THORPE @ [personal profile] givetheslip
■■■■■■□□□□

Maria is hilarious. He probably shouldn't think of her like that, because she's an incredibly able soldier of the Crusades, could kick just about anyone's ass to next Sunday and has demonstrated an immense amount of courage for her situation. But no, she's hilarious. He's loved showing her bits and pieces of modern life and making fun of her, and stunningly enough, she lets him. He's awfully fond of her, even if she can be a little stuck in her ways sometimes. A part of him wishes she could stay here, where she could live as a woman in peace.

KHAJI DA'S ASSESSMENT: Threat level: low. Maria Thorpe makes Jaime Reyes laugh. He likes her. She is acceptable.

GOGO (ETHEL) TOMAGO @ [personal profile] maglevflash
■■■■■■□□□□

Getting to know Ethel through a shared nightmare means that Jaime's got a far, far different picture of her than most people who've just met her have. Sure, she's a badass. Sure, she's a genius who does triathlons. Sure, she's reticent and a little sparse with her feelings, but beneath it all, there's someone who's vulnerable with a heart of gold. She's a good person who deserves more than what this world's thrown at her, and in this place? It's an awful lot. Being kidnapped by Crane has done a number on her, and Jaime can't help but worry; her coping mechanisms often seem to be nowhere to be found, and it's difficult for any individual to recover after something like that. All he can do is be there for her and hope for the best.

KHAJI DA'S ASSESSMENT: Threat level: medium. Ethel Tomago has caused Jaime distress only by circumstance. Jaime Reyes likes her. She is acceptable.

AUNT CASS @ [personal profile] lasthugs
■■■■□□□□□□

Jaime's happy that Cass is around, if not only for her presence in the Hamadas' lives. God knows those boys could use a little more love and structure. Even aside from them, though, Cass is a warm, bubbly personality that he can't imagine anyone disliking. She reminds him of his own mother sometimes, in a way that aches, but not in such a bad way. He worries about her sometimes, now that her boys are gone, but she seems like she's doing fine. If nothing else, she's surrounded by people who love her, and it's really no surprise; everyone wants to have someone like Cass in their lives.

KHAJI DA'S ASSESSMENT: Threat level: N/A. Cass has provided Jaime Reyes with sustenance. Jaime Reyes has expressed satisfaction with her presence in Heropa. She is acceptable.

JOAQUIN MONDRAGON @ [personal profile] medalsome
■■■■■□□□□□

Like Manolo, Jaime experienced an immediate bond with Joaquin just based on the fact that they're living together and - mostly - share a language and culture after so long away from it. It's easy to tell how different Joaquin is from Manolo even just by looking at the guy, but that hasn't made him any less friendly. He enjoys Joaquin's company, and he can't lie -- it's a little entertaining watching him attempt to navigate a very, very 21st century occupation knowing that the guy's a soldier through and through, with the eyepatch to prove it. Though speaking of the eyepatch... Jaime knows that there's more to the guy than meets the eye, what with his mysterious past with invulnerability and his very, very dead friend. He's got a protective streak a mile long, and a past that suggests why he is that way, but Jaime hopes he can find a little peace, one day. Until then, he knows Joaquin is a good, loyal friend, and he's glad to have him.

KHAJI DA'S ASSESSMENT: Threat level: low. Joaquin Mondragon has not caused Jaime Reyes any significant distress. Jaime Reyes' happiness increased with additional roommates. He is acceptable.

L'ARACHEL @ [personal profile] lightandglory
■□□□□□□□□□

Jaime thinks that L'Arachel is basically a rude, boorish sort of young woman, who uses her status as an excuse to lord herself over everyone else, without bothering to learn about this world's culture and customs. Needless to say, he doesn't like her; there's little he dislikes more than the sensation of someone feeling as if they're superior to him because of status. (Being superior to him due to intellect, ability, compassion... that's another story.) Still, she's not a bad person. Just an annoying one.

KHAJI DA'S ASSESSMENT: Threat level: low. Jaime Reyes does not like L'Arachel. I do not understand why. It does not matter. I do not like her either.
