I'm not sure if that should count cuz I don't know if you've noticed but about eighty percent of the people here are like six foot tall models

Ah, but that makes it more plausible, not less--you remember the imPort convention, don't you? Ordinary Americans are clearly drawn to all the six-foot beauties. It's almost as though there's hypnosis at work.

Looking back, that's only the latest theme we're moved away from. How did we get from Maru-san to rainbows?

Oh man. That's so weird. Most people here are like either from the future, a time pretty much the same as this one or wayyyyy in the past.

I'm pretty sure you're one of the only ones who's just a couple of decades into this world's past

Oh! That makes me feel rather special. You're right, the contrast in era are usually much more extreme... I feel like I'm in one of those Life in the Future documentaries.

Although I hope my smile looks a little more natural than the actresses in those. What do you think?

Very true! Happy, pleased, wistful, awkward... it's like different shades on a color palette, when you come to think of it.
