It wasn't that bad! I just bragged a LITTLE about containing one of the evil flashes from an alternate universe but she thought I was too cocky for a newbie

But in fairness to me, I was pretty awesome

Do you mind if I go back and ask about how there are not just several alternate versions of Flash but there are enough where he is evil to only be "one of them?"

Oh well I kind of assume that there's more than one universe where he's evilish. I mean, there are four flashes and a gazillion universes, so it stands to reason

My world kind of has an alternate universe problem

My goodness, you must need an Excel document just to keep track of all of them. Does it operate along a gradient? Unpleasant Flash, Evilish Flash, and Evil Flash?

I'm actually pretty sure most of them are really nice! We just got unlucky and got invaded with the mean ones for a day. I haven't actually been to any other alternate universes myself

So if you meet a Flash, they're PROBABLY okay. If you meet a reverse Flash, don't get involved

It's the sort of thing that could happen to anyone.

But how would I distinguish Flash from Reverse Flash? I suppose the reverse of a flash is sudden darkness, isn't it?

Guys who do what I do dress up in like REALLY BRIGHT primary colors and call themselves dumb stuff like Flash or Blue Beetle or Gorilla Grodd (because he's a gorilla and his name is Grodd)

We're not exactly what you'd call subtle. If you ask him he'd probably yell his name at you

There is something to be said for being so direct. It must make it convenient to find your archnemesis when you need to do battle.

I'll keep it in mind if I ever meet someone introducing himself as Flash and make sure I pay close attention to whether or not he has a longer line on his business card.

Honestly if he's in costume you'll probably know since they only really wear them on-duty? So they'll probably be doing something evilish

You probably won't have to deal with it though. We don't actually have that many supervillains around here

Oh, so he doesn't commit evil deeds off the clock. That's reassuring :)

I certainly hope it stays that way. The unofficial Fourth of July celebrations were quite enough villainy to deal with for one summer.

I just wish he could use his powers more productively. I don't understand guys who don't do it for fame or money or revenge or whatever. I mean I don't like it when they do it for those reasons either don't get me wrong but I get it

When guys who are like MWAHAHAH I SHOOT RAINBOWS BECAUSE IT'S MY THEME AND NO OTHER REASON, I WILL NOW DESTROY YOU

And his powers could be put to such constructive use, too. What parade master wouldn't want a giant Uncle Sam golem leading the way? Peacefully?

I'm actually shocked that you don't. Maybe he (or she) is just hiding in the light? You should look harder next time it rains.

I'm not sure if that should count cuz I don't know if you've noticed but about eighty percent of the people here are like six foot tall models

Ah, but that makes it more plausible, not less--you remember the imPort convention, don't you? Ordinary Americans are clearly drawn to all the six-foot beauties. It's almost as though there's hypnosis at work.

Looking back, that's only the latest theme we're moved away from. How did we get from Maru-san to rainbows?
