mom and dad are so normal its boring
many people ask me where i came from if im really their kid or if i mutated from really old leftovers or something

they both work so my aunt i watched me a lot when i was little
she was my best friend but then she went to college and i was old enough to be a latchkey kid and also mom switched 2 part time so that solved that

They probably trust your uncle to deal with that stuff. I'm pretty sure that our parents are kind of out of their depth when it comes to this stuff like

they can't exactly be all NO FIGHTING ANYONE WHO CAN THROW A TRUCK it's kind of hard to keep tabs on those things. Which is probably a good thing bc I'd just do it anyway honestly

mom and dad know what i do like theyre not out of the loop or anything
we talk about it a lot. i tell them everything that goes on and they always listen. i think they just want to keep things as normal as possible for me outside of superhero work but
i think they also trust me more

im not just saying that bc im mad about being babied bc the flash is a great mentor he is. he teaches me stuff and hes great really he is but i dont think he

I've never thought about it that way. Honestly I've always been a little jealous of you guys for getting a mentor out in the field. Never really figured that it would come with its own problems

[It's a good thing this is text, or else he would be embarrassing himself right now. Even after bringing up some less-than fun topics, just mentioning that he's talked to Ted is enough to make him grin.

(He's talked to Ted, and he's so smart and cool and nice and oh man, Ted actually approves of him going out to do his thing and everything is wonderful.]

Yeah I went to talk to him once he arrived to make sure he was ok with me taking on the title. He's been letting me help work on his cars!
