[Ken hasn't realized Jaime is absent yet. He's been busy all week with school, before-holiday soccer practice, and also shopping for dinner stuff for Thursday.]

I forgot to ask you but did you have plans for Thanksgiving? I was wondering if I could drop by.

Even if you were asleep, Khaji-san would respond if you were here. So that's how it is, huh?

I'll be waiting. For both of you.

[As declared to Wally on his network announcement, Ken makes his way over to Jaime's house that evening. It's easy to be let into the house now that Minato lives there, and after checking in on dad and chatting with him a little he rolls into mom's room, taking a quick look around -- he's familiar with the space -- and making his way to the desk. On it, he sticks on a bright orange Post-it note and writes in careful, neat-but-awkwardly-balanced writing.]

A friend did this for me while I was gone, too. It's really cheesy, but it was nice to come back to so I hope you feel the same way when you do, too.

[There are two post-its today. One doesn't have any writing on it, but it has a shiba-sized paw print on it. Someone wanted to join in. And on the second,]

Wally-san put up a post for you yesterday. I forgot to mention it. I wonder if it isn't embarrassing to have it announced like that. You'd probably get really embarrassed huh?

I don't have a way of knowing when you come back like you do with Khaji-san. Maybe if I'm lucky I'll run into you while doing more of these.

My roommate just learned that you cook turkey for Thanksgiving but I don't think he realizes that it's turkey you can buy at the store.

I hope he doesn't go hunting turkeys in the wild. A week or so ago we had someone drag a whole boar into the kitchen because he wanted to feed Koromaru.

[Looks like someone else took to the notes idea, because there's some in slightly sloppy japanese writing.]

Ken's looking for you, you know. Hurry up. You know how cranky he gets when he has to wait.

[There's one more post it note, stuck just below Ken's and it looks like there's an arrow starting on half of Ken's note and continuing onto his, with hastily written Japanese. The 'arrow' pointing to it.]

What do people usually talk about on Thanksgiving? I remember the wall from the swear-in, but in the end I never got to write anything. It just didn't seem enough you know?

It's a day late, but I wanted to say that it's not that I don't know what I'm thankful for, or that I just have a vague idea of "a lot of things." I know exactly what I'm thankful for, and you're one of the people at the top of that list.

You know.

I hope you don't think it's creepy later that I've been coming to your house every day just to stick stuff on your desk. Minato-san doesn't mind, but he let Aigis-san pick the lock to his bedroom and watch him sleep. Did we ever tell you that?

It's quiet without you.

I think I got caught up in actual trouble this week too, but I'm more concerned about Mabel. She's not in trouble. I just got attacked by her today. I'm going to have a lot to tell you when you're back.

I guess I'm gonna be living here for a few days. Can this count as asking permission to use your bed?
